YouTube has channels for about any taste. They wanted to put out feelers for a new concept which took Streaming Entertainment to a new level. Without expressly saying “Films,” YouTube wanted to compete in the at home cinema space which Netflix was devouring.
Our solution was to show a VFX oriented teaser with the name “CinemaFlow” since future products might have included the “Flow” moniker. RealFlow simulations and Cinema and Octane Render brought the concept to life premiering at ComicCon. In the end, licensing led them to their current offering of a next generation Cable Network Package model.
