A Great Dance Partner
Cricket Wireless had a crazy idea…. People like music. People like their phones. But the old model of ads for boring phones and more boring services needed a new take. Imaginary Forces shot and designed this piece and Thomas Bittikoffer of Plastique and John Rumeah provided the graphics in this dance piece directed by Chris Applebaum.
3 3D particle applications were used to generate upwards of 1.3 billion particles in each shot. Overnight simulations and deft compositing brought these elements to life and bring some national attention to a brand in need of a kickstart. In the end, the project got nominated for a few awards and brought Cricket back from the brink.
